BULLS IN THE CITY

BRIEF
The Bulls in the City project by Wild In Art featured the works of 40 local artists, tasked to design and paint statues of Birmingham’s iconic bull. Displayed city-wide, the artwork it set to inspire and engage the community through a vibrant public art trail.
While raising funds for Birmingham Hospice, the project also highlights the power of creativity and its vital social, cultural, and economic value. Through art, Bulls in the City fosters community pride, participation, and meaningful connections. A massive thank you to Selfridges for sponsoring my bull.

'There is also a version of Ozzy, the giant mechanical bull featured in the city's opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games.'

ILLUSTRATION, MURAL, DESIGN
My design "Baby Oz" is inspired by Artem SFX studio's mechanical bull, made for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022. Now home in Grand Central Station, it has quickly become an iconic part of Birmingham, representing Birmingham's industrious history, making strides in science, engineering and progress.
